Brief Description
Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals was founded in 2001 as UBE Pharmaceuticals, but changed to its current name in 2004. The company manufactures a variety of pain relief medications including the widely prescribed Darvon and Darvocet brands, as well as a Roxicodone line of products containing oxycodone. The company also has a line of prenatal vitamins, as well as a drug, XP12B, which is designed to reduce menstrual blood loss in women who suffer from excessive bleeding during menstruation.
